Further up the Big Hill section, about a half mile south of the last stop we find the black shale discontinuosly overlain by dolomites. As we continue to move up section here we find some thin layers with intensive burrowing, others with ooids, and glauconite-rich layers.
Our first time here, and potentially a great place to practice making sections. Perhaps next time…
