Category: 2015 Chile Field Trip

We are all out enjoying ourselves at various locations across Santiago. Some of us, however, are calling it an early night, so we can recover from the horseback trip today and have some time to spend exploring Santiago tomorrow. 

We need to leave the hotel at 4pm — again, that is 4pm to any trip participants reading this! — in order to gas-up and return the rental cars, and be at the airport on-time. Any non-trip participants should feel free to remind their friends or family who are on the trip to be in the lobby, ready to leave, at 4pm! Call them, send them texts, email them, Skype or FaceTime them, just tell them 4pm and no later!



Another invigorating drive later we are at our lodgings in Santiago. It took sometime to gather everyone together after our latest foray into South American urban driving, but finally we are here…

Our horse ride through the mountains brings to an end the main portion of our Chilean geology filed trip. After this we’ll head to Santiago for the evening and have some free time tomorrow before our flight.
